When I began cutting hair, I never knew where it would take me. All I knew is that I LOVED IT! I always loved the culture of barbering and the barber shop in general. Even before becoming a barber, going to a packed shop on a Saturday morning listening to all the stories about the night before, talking about sports (football and soccer in particular), music, seeing fathers with their sons, the jokes, the camaraderie. I can go on & on. I didn’t know at the time I would become a barber. Fast forward to today, I now have my dream job! Although I don’t see it as a job for lack of a better term. It’s my art, I do what I love and it’s helped me create a legacy along with a platform to help trailblazer the way for others.
